Hi sir Rage, remember the advise you gave me with my problem with my BL4 installation?

Sir i've check the MD5 of the ISO that i got and it did match & i even tried to burn BL4 installer again but still no luck im getting the same error message.

i think that i might be my hardware or BIOS setting but i still can't figure it out...

btw i tried to use the media (CD) on other PC and it work and i was able to install BL4 with no problem...

Perhaps you can bring your PC to our office so we can look into this further.

I've been out of the Bayanihan community for a bit long time. I was using Bayanihan BL4 more than a year ago but when my computer conked out I was forced to use our office computer with Windows XP in it. Now that I have a new computer (actually its an second hand Intel Celeron 2.26GHz with 256 MB RAM the office gave me) I want to go back installing BL4. So since I still got the installation CD I used a year ago. But I got the same problem as the one mentioned by the user above. I don't believe my CD is busted because I only used it twice a year ago. I read that some installation are for i386 and i686. Is it possible that I need the installation for i686 with my specs I mentioned a while ago?

please help because I really prefer Linux over Windows.

More power bro!

hey welcome back!

I still haven't encountered a machine here at the office with a similar problem so I'm at a loss at how this error came to be. Perhaps you can post all the messages that you see on the display before the "Kernel Panic - not syncing: attempted to kill init!"

Maybe if you have time you can bring it here to our office and let us have a look at it.
